Chris’ extensive experience in the behavioral health space began as a front-line, entry level staff member at a treatment center for complex mental illness and co-occurring disorders in San Diego in 2010. This role shaped not only a passion for helping others but his path into an industry that has changed his life. Since 2012, Chris has founded a behavioral health consulting firm based in San Diego and most recently a treatment center for young adults in Northern Virginia. Chris has spent most of his career building behavioral healthcare organizations and serving in executive leadership roles within them.
Chris’ most eye-opening and enlightening experiences have come from a variety of mistakes that have shaped his character, outlook and experience. Truly embodying the concept of accepting failure as a gifted opportunity to learn, Chris is able to offer a realistic and vulnerable understanding of vital behavioral health practices, how they integrate into respective businesses and how to identify and avoid the pitfalls associated with building and growing behavioral healthcare organizations. Chris’ passion truly lies within taking concepts to market and working with other entrepreneurs and leaders to ensure their ability to avoid certain situations that could destroy even the best of intentions and execution strategies. Chris strives to continue working with other industry leaders to promote personal growth and professional development through vulnerability, resilience and our ability to come together in gifted opportunities and successes alike, big and small, to ensure the long-term health and well-being for our industry.
In addition to his work with C4 Consulting, Chris serves as a Senior Advisor for Doyen Consulting Group, based in San Diego, CA and serves on the Board of Directors for LEAD, Inc. (Let’s Empower, Advocate and Do), a Boston based non-profit striving to implement mental health education and training into every school system and business nationwide.
