Behavioral Health Consulting in Washington State
Washington State has a significant need for Behavioral Health support. Not only do many people with addiction in the state not get the help that they need, but those with mental health challenges find themselves facing a shortage of providers. This lack of access to drug rehab and Mental Health Care leads to people relying on emergency rooms when they shouldn’t be or being held in jails when they shouldn’t be.
As more businesses look to enter or expand their offerings in the state, professional consultation services can facilitate a smooth transition.
In terms of providing mental health treatment, Washington state currently ranks among the lowest states in the nation, with nearly half of the adults who have a mental health issue not getting the care they need. A significant issue with getting care is a shortage of providers in the area. This is especially true in rural areas. With a shortage of qualified mental health professionals, the need for new and expanding businesses is high.
